King Long Peter

Biography
Long Peter governed Klay, a Gola town on the road between the coast and the interior markets, and set his mark to the Ducor Contract in December 1821.
Like King Jimmy he returned in May 1825 to insist that no further land be taken without a conference of the kings and an equitable price.
Historical significance
A Gola voice in a bargain usually narrated as a Dei affair — evidence that the Mesurado cession involved a coalition of neighbouring polities.
